The images below are from an investigation in to the cracking of steel alloy wheels that was undertaken for a manufacture of parts for plant machinery. The client suspected that the quality of parts they were receiving from the supplier had changed and was the reason why they were seeing rising numbers of returns from their customers. Investigation showed that the parts quality decline were a result of poor manufacturing processes.
